Residents from Sacramento to Los Angeles and Las Vegas reported seeing mysterious fireball streaking across the night sky. The objects that travel at about 18,000 mph some 50 miles overhead, were spotted across Utah, Nevada and California. Witnesses said the ball of fire in the sky lasted about 30 seconds.
